About Shakti Durga
Sri Guru Shakti Durga is the spiritual head and inspiration for Shanti Mission Harmony Centres. Her visionary work is spreading rapidly and promoting better spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health amongst those who look to her for guidance.
Shakti means spiritual power or energy, and Durga is a name for the Divine Mother. Shakti Durga turns up the volume on the life force in those who embrace her methods for personal wellbeing and spirituality. She bestows hope and salvation upon her many devotees, many of whom have experienced profound and wonderful life changes on account of their journey with their beloved Guru.
Formerly barrister Kim
Fraser, Shakti Durga (now her legal name) is a multi-faith teacher of
energetic healing who keeps things simple, practical and grounded. Her
presentation style is clear, amusing, insightful and leaves the listener with a
sense of hope and personal wellbeing. She has a knack of imparting complex
concepts in simple, easy to understand terms that are of broad appeal. All of
her seminars and centres run by donation.
On 28th October 2006 Shakti Durga had an experience of self-realization, took her first disciple Parvarti Ma and began Shanti Mission. This was the beginning of her life as Maha Guru in the Shanti Mission spiritual school. Since then the school has grown rapidly and thousands of people have benefited from Her programs.
Spiritual Aspirant
Shakti Durga holds deep gratitude for the gifted and compassionate spiritual teachers who have helped her grow in this life:
Barbara and Terry Tebo, Terry and Barbara help people build self-esteem and discover themselves and the world in a whole new way. They run gentle, loving, carefully structured programs to move you out of your limitations to where you are free to be yourself. From them Shakti Durga learned
the art of facilitation of large and small groups, tools for emotional and
mental wellbeing, meditation, counselling skills and heart centred
communication.
Raym is a shaman who developed Crystal Dreaming, a powerful process to give clients experiences of other dimensions through the laying on of crystals and guided process. He began Shakti Durga's interest in spiritual healing and multi dimensionality. From him she learned
spiritual and enegetic healing techniques, crystal healing,
multi-dimensionality and how to have discernment as a healer dealing with a
broad range of health and spiritual problems.
Qala is a self realised being who has full clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathic ability and deep love for everyone and everything. She has rare gifts as a divine channel, and is able to perceive the core and destiny of those who seek her assistance. She helps people find their own spiritual mastery. She helped Shakti Durga to deepen
intuitive understanding, learn about the meridians of energy in the body,
deepen meditation experiences, soul centred healing and counselling, how to start
meditation and energy awareness classes and encouraged her to develop a healing
modality.
Master Choa Kok Sui is the founder of modern Pranic Healing and arhatic yoga. Shakti Durga was a senior
student of Master Choa and studied with him in Australia
and the Philippines
for seven years. From him she learned energetic healing and deep,
transformative styles of meditation. Shakti Durga was a practitioner and teacher of
pranic healing. Her extensive clinical work in this field combined with her previous
training was highly effective in treating members of the public suffering from
a wide range of health issues from cancer, tumors, epilepsy and pain syndromes
to anxiety, depression, allergies and improvements in energy levels. After
nearly 14 years of practice as an energetic or spiritual healer, she developed,
taught and practiced Ignite Your Spirit Therapy.
Sai Baba is a Universal teacher loved by millions of people around the world. He has established many humanitarian programs including hospitals, schools and water treatment programs in his native India. His divine energy and grace are extraordinary, and he has been of great assistance to Shakti Durga in the development of her own path. He lives in Putaparti, Southern India. Sathya Sai Baba. He gave Shakti Durga
and Shiva Kata Tjuta the inspiration and
shakti to start the visionary charitable work of Shanti Mission.
Pak Ketut is a Holy man from Ubud, Bali, who along with his own teacher has blessed Shakti Durga with the ability to jump start others spiritually by direct transmission of Divine energy. The efficacy of chant
and jappa as valid forms of energetic healing were taught through the satsang
and group classes held at the Ashrams and through visits of these incredible
teachers to our Harmony Centres in Australia.
Namaste to all of these incredible people, and thank you for your generosity and caring.

Biography
Born in Tasmania as Kim Fraser in December 1961, she was raised by wonderful
Catholic parents mainly in rural NSW. Her father was a senior executive and
director of various mining companies. She has one brother and as a child had
lots of horses.
She finished
school in 1979 and then attended Sydney
University where she
attained bachelors of laws and economics. Kim worked in international trade
consulting prior to being called to the NSW bar in 1985, where she continued to
practice personal injury and workers compensation litigation until retirement from
law in 2002.
Following a
messy divorce in 1992, Kim turned to personal development training and
meditation to put herself back on track. She had an endless appetite for learning and following a bout of
illness discovered energetic healing, which cured chronic bronchitis when
traditional medicine had not been helpful. Meditation became a transforming
passion, and she studied with various spiritual masters both in Australia and overseas, primarily in the Philippines, India
and Bali. She devoured many hundreds of books
on healing, meditation, personal development, stress management, alternative healing therapies and
philosophies for right living.
As a former
skeptic, Kim was somewhat shocked to discover that she was clairvoyant and
clairsentient, and had tremendous healing energy. She practiced spiritual
healing, Ignite Your Spirit therapy which she developed through culling the
best available techniques from a variety of sources over many years and adding
her own flavour. Her teaching career started in 1999 at first part time,
becoming full time in 2002.Since then she has
taught thousands of people.
Shakti Durga
emerged through an epiphany which took place on 28th October 2006. She
had a mystical experience which was shared by a class full of people (she was
about to teach a seminar at the time). This transformed who she thought she
was, and revolutionized her perception of self and the world.
She has written
4 books, the latest of which is Dimensions of Wealth. This book took 10 years
to write, because so much personal evolution was required in order to present
these ancient, powerful concepts in simple, easy to understand terms. The book
is a personal journey into empowerment, containing tools for self help that
have assisted thousands of people over the past few years.
Shakti Durga is
a vocalist and musical composer who has numerous meditation and chant CD’s
including Archangelic Meditation, composed with award winning composer Geoffrey
Russell.Each of her cd’s is a
healing tool which is used in conjunction with Ignite Your Spirit therapy.
Shakti Durga
features in a new documentary called Love Me Love You, in which 5 people with 5
different life issues are given healings by 5 therapists from 5 different
traditions, and the results are fairly interesting. This film is designed to
help those who are struggling with depression, or feeling that they do not

with one simple message: if you love yourself, then things get better.
